It was hard to get into it at first, but when I picked it up the second time, I couldn’t put it down. The deeper the story goes, the more brilliant it becomes. Everything is superbly described, as if by a clueless child, very powerful, and definitely worth the time.

Fell flat. It's hard to root for a couple when the guy disappears for years and circles back around when it's covid and there's nothing better to do. They lost a lot of opportunities for building off the chemistry they had when they first met.

It was interesting to read about the behind the scenes prep for SNL. I liked the main and peripheral characters, and the dialogue and emotions were well-written. I’m a fan of this author. I did like the plot device of exchanging almost real-time emails to progress the story and move it satisfactorily to a deeper relationship. Great story!
