An intense read, and unbelievable story that proves that education is power. I can’t believe the physical and emotional abuse the author overcame and still, she was looking for the approval and love of her family. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is because there are some things that seem a bit far fetched. So many things and accidents that could have ended up so terribly wrong always end up being solved. It is a great story.
