This is the fifth book in this series, it can totally be read as a standalone but I would urge reading the series in sequence to get the most enjoyment…… you won't regret it.
Tension was high at Echo Ridge, The Committee were closing in, they were too close for comfort to the secluded, dark ops headquarters that was hidden into the side of a mountain, they had to act fast, information was leaking but from where.
Kane and his hand picked team were on high alert but there was another tension within Echo Ridge, a tension that could blow the safety of the operation, the tension between Sarah and Micah.
Sarah Andrews had been working signals intelligence for the NSA, she was the best at her job. NSA works in conjunction with the CIA, sharing information and when the ruggedly handsome CIA operator entered one of Sarah's presentations, the attraction was instant.
Sarah and Micah grew close, they worked well together, they were both at the top of their game but Sarah knew that Micah worked undercover in dark ops, sometimes for months at a time with no communications, but he would always be there for Sarah……..or would he ?
Sarah's life was in danger and her brother was missing, she had no one to turn to except Micah and he wasn't there.
Micah was deep undercover for two years, his work was important in saving lives, deep down Sarah knew that he didn't have a choice but it didn't stop the anger that had festered for two years, and now they were both working at Echo Ridge to bring down the highly trained, well connected Committee.
The safety of Echo Ridge and all Kane's team depended on the two of them working together, could they focus enough to get the job done and outsmart the Committee ?
This story is like being on a roller coaster without breaks, it is action packed with nail biting suspense, the analysis and technical jargon is mind blowing and I can't wait to read Vix's story.
I received a free copy of this book and my review is voluntary.
