What the heck did I just read?
Honestly I don’t even know how I feel about it.
Edit: Ok so I reflected a bit. I don't think I loved it. Understood the main themes but I don't think I liked the character's voice very much and that made the story slightly less compelling. I liked the tone earlier on in the book more, but the absurdity of the later chapters still kept me hooked. Solid 3/5 where I'm like "I understand how people could love it and I see the quality and uniqueness, but I don't think I loved it in a Marie Kondo this-story-sparks-joy way".

Well written, but disturbing. If a horror movie were a novel…
absurd, hilarious, unhinged and strangely relatable
Absolutely batshit bonkers crazy
FIRST UP TRIGGER WARNINGS!!!!
An excellent portrayal of society. At first it was really interesting and kept me motivated to finish the book to know what happens. But the ending is the only thing which stops me from giving this book 5 stars. I really don’t understand what the heck the ending is all about. I have been watching videos and reading articles to better understand it. I still haven’t found a plausible explanation!!!
