FIRST UP TRIGGER WARNINGS!!!!
An excellent portrayal of society. At first it was really interesting and kept me motivated to finish the book to know what happens. But the ending is the only thing which stops me from giving this book 5 stars. I really don’t understand what the heck the ending is all about. I have been watching videos and reading articles to better understand it. I still haven’t found a plausible explanation!!!

I’m scared to give this book 5 stars, mostly because if you read it you may wonder about the state of my mental health.
In all seriousness after reading this book, I was also concerned for my mental health.
It’s been months since I read it and this book is like a slow burn in the back of my mind. Once you get past the shock of what you just read, the deeper symbolism seeps in.
This book is hands down the most disturbing book I read in 2023, but also one of the best in depicting the effects of abuse, trauma, and dissociation.
The innocent tone of the FMC makes this book even more daunting and heart breaking.
Go into this book knowing you will be very upset but you probably won’t be able to put it down.
