This is the third book in Delta James "Velvet Dominions" series, it can easily be read as a standalone, although characters from the previous books are present, any relevant information is explained. As the braided leather collar snapped close, the ruby nestling where her collar bones meet, Natalie knows that she is finally getting close to finding her sister, Clair's, killer. Clair died when she was a member of the Elysium BDSM club, her death was recorded as accidental but Clair was onto something depraved and Clair recorded it. Elysium closed but many of the Doms moved to Dominion, a club that was run like a tight ship by Margot Pascal but there were gaps and Natalie was good at gaps. Natalie quickly made friends with Renata who ran the bar. Natalie saw everything and said very little. Sebastian Viller was a Dom at the club, he had transferred from Elysium and now sat in his dedicated booth, reviewing the scene, a whiskey in his hand that he didn't drink. There was an instant attraction between Natalie and the brooding Dom and she soon became his submissive, no one had ever worn his collar. Although Natalie was attracted to Sebastian and enjoyed her time with him more than she probably should, letting herself go in scenes that she wouldn't have thought possible, she never lost the drive to find her sister's killer. Sebastian knew that Natalie was hiding secrets from him, she was asking questions about incidents at Elysium, questions that made him uncomfortable. Sebastian was racked with guilt about incidents at Elysium, he had kept his suspicions quiet when he should have spoken up. Secrets are tearing into Natalie and Sebastian's relationship, secrets of disappearing members and an unexplained death, Can they combine their knowledge to end this heart breaking mystery or will it tear them apart. This is a great story with many triggers' I received a free copy of this book and my review is voluntary.
