Okay, so this book definitely had the dark and disturbing vibe nailed down to a T. I must say though, there were parts of it where I was very confused. At first I thought the main couple would be Dash and Luthor (still would love an alternate universe version of that). And then the whole Callum/Kellan thing was extremely confusing. At first I thought that some stranger was impersonating Officer Kemper after he quit, then I thought maybe Kellan had an identical twin. The whole schizophrenic twist was interesting.
