Dash is fcked up. Period. We get slices of his life in the prologue, and things don't look good.
He's in the family business. He robs banks, and he's pretty good at it until he gets set up.
He gets caught.
Then he gets dead.
Officer Kemper has power.
He exerts that power over Dash in the worst way possible.
Unfortunately for Dash, no one is coming to rescue a dead man.
The dead men at Alabaster Prison live the worst lives possible. That place can drive the most sane man mad, and Dash is no different.
But, did Alabaster Prison break Dash, or did he arrive already broken?
The book is very spicy 🌶🌶🌶🌶/5 chilis on the spicy scale. And a HFN and a great epilogue.

Okay, so this book definitely had the dark and disturbing vibe nailed down to a T. I must say though, there were parts of it where I was very confused. At first I thought the main couple would be Dash and Luthor (still would love an alternate universe version of that). And then the whole Callum/Kellan thing was extremely confusing. At first I thought that some stranger was impersonating Officer Kemper after he quit, then I thought maybe Kellan had an identical twin. The whole schizophrenic twist was interesting.
