A powerful love story that was wholesome and heartwarming. The MCs innocence made you fall in love with her right away. The cliffhanger at the end left you wanting more...oh, and I despised her mother.
Guys, I'm so sad that I only started reading Beverly Jenkins this year. She writes amazing characters with ascertainable growth, believable settings, and sweeping romances. I genuinely loved this book (and the rest of this series) and I can't wait to read more of Ms. Jenkins backlist.
