Read this book if you want to be entertained. This is a Wish version of You, starring a watered down, lame version of Joe Goldberg and an obviously dumb version of Guinevere Beck.
RE-TELLING OF THE BOOK BELOW
The only good thing about this book? It had a trigger warning right at the start. But it forgot to include laughter in it.
Our male MC, Jonathan is a lawyer in the day, killer in the night. He goes onto the dark web and kills people who are supposed to be dead. The fact that he made himself seem menacing got the first laugh:
He finds the latest assignment of our female MC, Olivia to be killed and of course, it is insta love/lust. In a huge, huge way
That includes stupid plain stalking, appearing everywhere she was and somehow not getting noticed for the build he is described to be.
He kills anyone that comes in her way, including a stranger who called her out for being "fat" aka curvy-but-people-are-just-stupid-to-distinguish:
After all the stalking of Olivia, he goes into her pet grooming shop to adopt a dog just for her to be in his life. And when Olivia saw him for the first time:
Blah blah blah, later he jumps in to save her during a horrible date and it never occurred to her that she was there "coincidentally" at the same time because she's dumb.
I was starting to wonder how there wasn't any police reports of the killings until it surfaced to Olivia, who obviously doesn't have a clue that its the man who's rubbing her back intimately at her shop.
I thought he will be killing secretly, I didn't expect him to tell her he is a killer after all:
He told her of all the alterations he has done to her home:
The smut in this was just.... words wasted. Honestly Jonathan isn't a Daddy just because he calls himself one. BDSM was mentioned in the blurb, that's why I even picked this up. Though, the only BDSM in this book is a Bad Delusional Stupid Man. The fact that Olivia uses Daddy in every sentence when they're banging makes me puke blood. Horrible, horrible smut.
The line that made me laugh for a few minutes straight was:
No Olivia, you won't be saying that if your kids were killed by one in the future.

Need to feel the life drain from their body, so I only take on the jobs that want bloody and dark revenge
He finds the latest assignment of our female MC, Olivia to be killed and of course, it is insta love/lust. In a huge, huge way
But the picture attached to the file has my head spinning. Before me is the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes onSo he took the assignment to make sure she isn't killed and to kill anyone who hurts her.
She is my love, my passion, and my absolute obsession. After one day, I know without a doubt I can never let someone else have her

Watch where the fuck you’re going, you cow! Stop taking up the entire fucking street with your fat assAnd why does he kill? Because she's insecure of herself after being abandoned by her family.
After all the stalking of Olivia, he goes into her pet grooming shop to adopt a dog just for her to be in his life. And when Olivia saw him for the first time:
If this man asked me to kneel before him right now, I don’t think I’d even give it a second thoughtso insta love/lust for both ways? Check.
Blah blah blah, later he jumps in to save her during a horrible date and it never occurred to her that she was there "coincidentally" at the same time because she's dumb.
It was like he came out of nowhere when I needed help the most. I hadn’t even realized there was anyone around us, not that I was paying that close of attention
I was starting to wonder how there wasn't any police reports of the killings until it surfaced to Olivia, who obviously doesn't have a clue that its the man who's rubbing her back intimately at her shop.
I thought he will be killing secretly, I didn't expect him to tell her he is a killer after all:
Someone, and I have no idea who, wants me dead because I have something they want. And Jonathan? He’s a killer? I sure didn’t see that one coming. What the heck is happening right now?
He told her of all the alterations he has done to her home:
Cameras, motion sensors, audio. You name it, it’s installed in your houseand she got horny from it because he got a free view of her naked self every time, instead of screaming for help. She got so aroused they banged and it isn't every worthy to talk about it here.

Who knew serial killers could be so adorable? Maybe everyone should get one
