This is a great beginning to the series. This is book 1 and it’s a slow burn, but the description of the characters and the “world” created in this book is just top notch. I can feel all the feels when I think of the characters in this book. It’s just described so well. There is mystery and suspense…so much suspense. There’s angst and there’s actually bullying, not just name calling, but downright humiliation and shame that I felt. So so good…and can’t wait to read the next one!!! This does end in a cliff, but the whole series is out so you can continue to the next book w/o having to wait.
