Nothing really happened...it was dull...I was constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop, and it never did. It lacked depth and honestly was quite boring.
From the beginning I was in awe of this book and the concept of a store that sold and offered dreams to people. It's so unique, cozy and interesting. It's a book I would recommend to all readers who like creative stories with animated characters and meaningful messages on life.
I loved the characters, the world building, the stories! There isn’t much drama but it felt like reading a wonderful dream. Can’t wait for book 2!
A unique fantasy world! I love the world and hope many more to come (if not already). I wanna follow the characters for more depth.
Could not finish it. I found the characters flat. There was no real conflict that I could find. Interesting premise and good world-building but what was the story? I read at least half of it and still have no idea what the main character wanted other than a job. It read like a story my former creative writing students would write. There was a lot of telling in addition to showing, which to me insults the reader. Don't need to explain so much. Perhaps an issue with the translation but really lacked a clear conflict.
