As a young man, Ed Catmull had a dream: to make the first computer-animated movie. Nine years later, Toy Story was released, changing animation forever. Catmull created a true masterpiece here. Every chapter is filled with anecdotes, concepts and wisdom - not rules - but a story that is extremely valuable and educational.

This ought to be required reading for any leader or manager that is responsible for creativity, innovation, design or simply creating delightful experiences.

I have rarely read a book where I had to pause so frequently to take everything in and had my mind wander to everything I could be doing differently or better. This will be one of the very few books I must read more than once.

The way Catmull is intertwining invaluable management guidance with brilliant storytelling is impeccable. Absolutely recommend.
