City of Thorns (The Demon Queen Trials Book 1)

Surprisingly this was actually really well written and give it a 5+ stars. I typically dislike book that are narrated by one side, in this case the Heroine, but this was very good. The storyline was slow at first, understanding you have to build the world and the charactors, but holy Succubus, bat-damon, this was really good! So many twists and turns and the connection and steamy build-up between Orion and Mortana/Rowan, just kept you so ingaged. But this is what I hate about trilogies, most of them leave you hanging, oh man are you left hanging in this one. Halfway through the book I told myself I wasnt going to go to the next book and ingulf myself in another series Im reading at the moment.....but nope, this book peaks your desires to know the unsolve mystery that is left unsolved. You kinda know where things might go, but still curious to actually read what happens. So Im hook! Just order Book #2, which thank the Devil, I only have to wait a few more months for Book #3. This is well written, great storyline and keeps you guessing and hook.
