Light on Horror, Heavy on Mediocre Narration.
Christmas in the Empty Cabin doesn't have a huge impact on horror/shock value. But the stories are interesting enough to continue to read the book. The underwhelming element of this book stems from the narrator. His tone and indication of the stories do not fit genre of the book. Most of the time, it felt like a satire or dark humor short stories set during the holidays.
