First book to bring me to tears in 2024. I feel like there is no way I could be friends with Cassandra. She doesn't like puns or dogs in her face and I feel certain she would time jump to avoid getting in my sticky, dirty car. But I know her, I misjudged her and almost every other character in this novel. It made me constantly reevaluate my evaluations in a way that reminded me that people are generally all just trying to connect. It's beautiful and funny in the least sentimental way it possibly could be. The narration was beautifully done. It seamlessly blends Greek mythology and London Pop up Shops. It asks the question, in a world where time is endless what could possibly be the most important thing?
