I’m not yet sure what to rate this book. It’s a very imaginative dystopian fantasy but with strong horror elements. Because there’s not a lot of humor or relaxing moments, the horror is especially strong. Too strong for me to thoroughly enjoy it, but that’s a personal preference not a deficit in the narrative or author’s writing skill.
