Boss Witch: A Cozy Paranormal Rom-Com (Fix-It Witches, 2)

She's a bossy, brilliant witch with no time for love. He's a brooding witch hunter bound by legacy. Falling for each other could destroy everything--or save them both.

From New York Times bestselling author Ann Aguirre comes a wickedly witty paranormal rom-com where fate, family, and forbidden desire collide.

Clementine Waterhouse runs her life like she runs her magic shop: with precision, independence, and zero tolerance for emotional chaos. Relationships? Only if they fit the schedule. Love? That's a fairy tale best left to dreamers.

Enter Gavin Rhys: serious, secretive, and sworn to a cause that puts them on opposite sides of an ancient conflict. He didn't come to St. Claire looking for romance--especially not with the most commanding, complicated woman he's ever met. But as the line between duty and desire blurs, both are forced to choose: follow the path they've been given... or risk everything for a connection neither expected.

Boss Witch delivers a spellbinding blend of swoon-worthy romance, sharp humor, and small-town magic that readers can't get enough of.

With a talking mouse, a meddling coven, and a love story that defies the rules, this Fix-It Witches novel casts a charm all its own.

Not great, not terrible. Much like the first book, this one has some well rounded characters that are enjoyable. However, the constant switch in tone and the immature writing style leaves a lot to be desired. I refuse to DNF a book but these were hard to get through. Not book club rec. Seriously bad editing and unnatural, clunky dialogue just take me out of an otherwise nice storyline.

This is a 4.5⭐️ because like the first book there’s some spoilers for the next book to come. First book had spoilers for Gavin & Clem’s romance and now this book not only has spoilers for Leanne & Trevor but also Dante & Margie! So beware for those spoilers while reading these books. I do like these characters and I did really like Boss Witch the most! I really loved Gavin!
