у книги две беды, нет, три - 1) повествование ОЧЕНЬ медленное, за всю книгу происходит 2 важных события и меньше десятка неважных, все остальное время героиня думает о маме и о том, как плохо и опасно быть ведьмой 2) тема колдовства почти не раскрыта, мы так и не узнаем, что ведьмы могут, а чего не могут, скажем, понятно, что могут изменять воспоминания, но непонятно, могут ли подчинять волю 3) герой почти нераскрыт, и нифига непонятно, чего это она внезапно кинулась к нему целоваться
а, еще очень много мизогинии - мужчины в этой вселенной плохие и чмырят женщин. not my cup of tea
не буду дальше читать продолжение. там в целом и так примерно ясно, чем дело кончится
