Damn. Let my heart be still. â¤ï¸ This was an amazing sequel to Legendborn that continues to draw on emotions involving systemic racism, loss, and love, all through the eyes of a black teenage girl with remarkable magical powers. Brianna continues to navigate a world of demons, legacy, and ancestral magic while struggling with a love triangle that's got her heart torn in two different directions. Tracy Deonn has done another excellent job bringing all of these themes seamlessly together into one book. I am dying for book 3.

A great sequel to Legendborn! I loved the character development and how real Deonn makes these characters feel. The audio for this book really adds to the experience in my opinion. I am excited to read book 3 soon!
WHAT?!? Noooo, I need a better ending!! I'm so happy I have book 3 on my lap, but I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like waiting over 2 years to find out what happens next!
This book digs deep into her ancestors while slowly revealing the reality of the magic of the Order. And of course there's the obvious romantic obstacles along the way. I had so much fun with this read!
