Blood & Honey (Serpent & Dove, 2)
The stakes are higher. The witches are deadlier. And the romance is red-hot. The eagerly anticipated sequel to the New York Times and Indiebound bestseller Serpent & Dove is perfect for fans of Sarah J. Maas and is an instant New York Times bestseller!
Lou, Reid, Coco, and Ansel are on the run from coven, kingdom, and church--fugitives with nowhere to hide.
To survive, they need allies. Strong ones. But as Lou becomes increasingly desperate to save those she loves, she turns to a darker side of magic that may cost Reid the one thing he can't bear to lose. Bound to her always, his vows were clear: where Lou goes, he will go; and where she stays, he will stay.
Until death do they part.
Don't miss Gods & Monsters, the spellbinding conclusion of this epic trilogy!

Lou has always been a wonderful character and I loved the first book. I think what I didn't like in this book was how whiny Reid was for like the whole book and the tension between him and Lou.
It also got hella dark at the end and even though Morgane is batshit crazy and I know this I somehow wasn't expecting it. What she did to Célie is one of the darkest things I've come across and I read a lot of dark books.
But moving on, Claude was an awesome addition to the cast. I'm definitely looking forward to learning more about him. Nicholina was spooky. And oh my heart Ansel
I loved the relationship growth in this book. We get to explore the characters that we started to love in Serpent and Dove so much more and it’s a grand adventure.
Also...the feels at the end were real!
Excellent book and I’m so looking forward to the next book!
Lou is amazingly messed up, Reid is a stubborn lovable ass still, and the Beau/Ansel/Coco debacle is both wonderful and painfully carried through in a realistic way.
