WOW, what a ride this book was, and I loved every moment of it! Roller coaster rides of emotions, frustrations, and real-life choices that many will be able to relate to. Like I put in most of my reviews lol this needs to be a movie asap!
this started off so strong i honestly thought it was going to be such good momentum throughout but a little over half way through (around 66% audio) it started getting sloppy and even though i enjoyed the beginning i can't say i enjoyed it overall with the ending
early on i thought it was a great combination of 'wolf of walstreet' kind of chaos in corporate america, while addressing the racism in the work place- many of his coworkers saying 'i'm not racist though' after making a comment or 'just let it go' if someone said something racist. the drama in the beginning and then towards the middle (the company, his mom, his girlfriend) but i just left all interest after that.... bummer.

I completed Black Buck a novel by Mateo Askaripour. All I can say is wow, what a breath of fresh air. I enjoyed this book from cover to cover. As I read, I was beginning to realize I may have found one of my new favorite writers. The story was well laid out and relatable. It talks about being black and a minority in corporate America. The story is vivid, well-written, and action-packed. This book was more than a tale but also a self-help book. I would recommend this book to everyone I know. I plan on following this author from book to book. @askmateo
