Twelve-year-old Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt Fitzroy has murder on his hands and trouble on his tail. He believes that Henry, the hippopotamus at the brand-new FunJungle, has been murdered. Looking forward to the next installment in the series
Enjoyed getting to know the characters as their adventures bring them all over the zoo and deeper and deeper into the mystery of what happened to the hippopotamus! Well written and sure to please the targeted age group....actually a couple of my students told me they had read and enjoyed this, and were on to different ones in the series.
I would add a warning to parents of the targeted age range about a couple of *offensive* words in a few places. Some parents may be fine, others may have issues, so I just wanted to put it out there for those who may have younger siblings or personal values in conflict.
