‘Behind A Closed Door’ by J.D. Barker is a rousing book that I can only describe as if ‘50 Shades of Grey’, ‘The Social Dilemma’, and ‘The Hunger Games’ had a baby. There was spice, suspense, and technology gone awry. I was quite intrigued to read this as I’ve seen so many people vying to win a copy of this book. I found this book to have many thrilling parts mixed with a few parts that were a tad over the top. Overall I did enjoy reading this as it kept my attention from start to finish. I also would like to note that I liked the ending, and found the message to be very eye opening to the current state of tech and the way humans are obsessed with it. This book won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but I would definitely recommend reading it all the way through before passing judgement.
