I read JL Beck because her writing is easy and keeps me entertained. It is by no means "good", but my brain can shut off and sometimes that's what you want.
However this book had a twist that was so cliche I felt like my intelligence was tested and I was offended.
The long lost, secret, identical brother being the one who was killing all the other families and terrorizing Sian was a step too far. I actually rolled my eyes and almost quit the book right there. This was so 365 daysesque that I couldn't take the duet seriously anymore.
