I wanted a “fluff” book yo listen to while exercising at the gym. This book fit the bill. The audio recording was not as good as LibriVox. The accents were inconsistent.
Basically Kitzi Camden is a high society girl on a beaders’ retreat. The first night one famous designer is found murdered. This designer, Mae, turns out to be having an affair with Kitzi’s best friend, Beth. Beth’s daughter, Lisa, also came to the retreat.
There is a lot lying in the book. So if you are bothered by that perhaps not the book for you. There are also probably less than twenty swear words. Clean— no sex.
Will probably read the second one. The author has passed away.
