I recieved this book in a goodreads drawing. I entered because the premise intrigued me. The writing style reminded me a little bit of Chuck Palahniuk, which made it a little difficult for me to follow at times. I wavered between apathy and caring about the main character and had some trouble relating to him and the other players in the story. They didnt feel relatable, you were always wondering what the motives were.
But, I loved the premise of the story and couldn't wait to see what bizarre trouble Nick got into next. I can envision a future of advertisements everywhere you look, everywhere you sit down.
I enjoyed this book and after a couple days to fully digest what Ive just read, I will Give it another go to get all the nuances.
