This was great fun! An old-time classic brought to the future in all its bits attached. Allen Steele does a great job of making this feel like the classic Pulp Sci-Fi novel but doesn't lose the childlike imagination.
This had everything: robots, cyborgs, androids, and orphans. The evil villain has a secret and only the hero can save us.
I had so much fun reading this. I'm going to have to look for the 1940s originals.
