Ever since I was little, Suki was one of my absolute favorite characters. She and Asami (Legend of Korra) are so incredible and skilled in their representation of nonbending women. As my top two characters in this universe, I was so excited for this comic to come out! I preordered it months ago and it arrived on the 30th of July.
I thought the story was excellent! A great way to show just how Suki was doing at Boiling Rock. I enjoyed the way Faith Erin Hicks displayed *spoilers ahead* some of the trauma in Suki towards the ending, teaching her that not everyone can be trusted just because they appear to be in your same situation. My only note would be that personally, I would’ve liked it to be a little longer. That’s how much I enjoyed! Like I said- Suki’s a fav!
