Deeply engaging read. Immediately immersed in the town and life of the characters. The care you have for the people makes you want to desperately believe - this time things will end differently.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the orality of the spoken Jamaican language and the writing had some much cultural nuance. Elements of the plot were gracefully interwoven to lead to the climax and conclusion.
