Annie's Song

I had mix feelings about this book. Alex constantly treating Annie like a child made the romance aspect feel weird. I also was not happy with the end when she leaves school after a few months. I really like the idea of her getting to experience life a little, even if Maddy and Bart were with her. It would have been nice for her to be around her peers and get to do normal things that teenagers get to do (I know she's 20, but she missed out on a whole childhood). I probably read too much smut, but if the author was going to write sex scenes, she needed to commit. This felt like skirting the line between wanted to write a fade to black and wanting to write smut.
