The plot is fast moving but most of the characters are flat and stereotypical. It is an entertaining book; however, the idea that ten people would take the actions they do and all die of murder or suicide is a bit preposterous. The book was likely a good psychological thriller when it was released. Not my favorite. And like many Agatha Christie books, I enjoy the story but I will promptly forget who did it within ten minutes of setting the book aside. They are action-packed but not tremendously memorable.
