This book is a great listen! The narrators are fantastic! Its duet (actually trio) narration, triple POVs, first person, 3 narrators, and I highly recommend it!
A reluctant MFM with 2 brothers Gentry and his younger brother Karson, who Gentry barely tolerates, and Leana, the woman with a sad past and drug addiction, on the run from her very connected drug dealer fiancé.
The brothers' van breaks down after a job (the job is murder), and Leana picks up the most dangerous hitchhikers possible while fleeing in a stolen SUV.
Leana does not make the best decisions.
And that is how Leana goes along for the ride of her life with two serial killers.
Along the way from New York to California the trio does a lot of learning about life on the lamb, love, and that German is a necessary language for every serial killer/murderer for hire to know.
