Another great read with the Armani sisters 🥰 This book focused on the middle sister Italy who is a travel chef. She had a relationship with Kentrell in high school and they were HS sweethearts. However Trell got into some heavy trouble and ended up breaking it off with her. She was devastated and carried that hurt for years. The truth was that he did it to save her life because of the trouble he had gotten himself into. Fast forward 12yrs later and she’s cooking for him and his girlfriend that was a surprise to both parties. Extremely hurt and all the hurt feelings came back, but for Trell all his loving feelings for her came back to surface as they never left. He got an opportunity to finally reveal the truth in why he broke it off years prior and she learned it wasn’t actually to hurt her, but because he loved her so much and didn’t want her to get caught up in any danger being associated with him. Finally able to break ties with the drug boss Dro and his daughter Monica, he applied constant pressure to get back the love of his life. There journey back to each took time and he had to earn her trust back. It was a good circle back story.
