Started off slow and I found myself annoyed with the main character for the first half, but once it picked up it was good. I didn’t guess who the the real perp was so I appreciated that.
The suspense was good. I couldn't guess who the real bad guy was which is always good. The ending felt rushed, but overall an enjoyable read.

I thought it was a unique set-up, and really enjoyed how the book examined social and political topics. I liked Ellice until she started playing detective.
