A sweet read
I did enjoy this book thoroughly. It was a little too fast paced woth the story, and there were a few references to statements that were never actually made, but over all, this book ticked all the boxes. Grumpy, moody MMC, sweet and stubborn, tough FMC, tragedy, discord, found family, he falls first. I really liked this book.

All of that and it's a bit of a page turner. Strong female character who doesn't flit between being strong and confident in herself and being a weak fool once the chips are down and she no longer has his support.
