A Town Called Solace: LONGLISTED FOR THE BOOKER PRIZE 2021

The book has an amazing setup of a small town with few characters. The characters are very approachable, and their bond with each other is very convincing, especially Clara's bond with Liam and Elizabeth. It is a perfect read for lazy weekends as it is a slow read.

Mary writes stories set in Northern Ontario - captures the landscape beautifully. ...telling the story, from the perspective of 3 different characters, allows readers to get to know those characters. I love it that a cat was an integral part of the story!
