guys, mary oliver gets it...she reaaaallllly gets it...no but seriously im so obsessed with her writing holy cow if anyone cares, my faves are (though it is not in this book and don't call me a bandwagoner for this- but i must say Wild Geese?!?!?! certified banger {a friend told me to read it after i told her i was devouring this collection today}) but yeah also green, green is my sister's house; the poet compares human nature to the ocean form which we came; and on traveling to beautiful places (REALLY LOVED THAT ONE) but yo all of them are certified bangers, i mean, the percy one?? cuuute and real and AGH she talked about in the acknowledgements standing on the shoulders of the person who wrote the one about the cat named jeffrey and i just love that.
