A Lover's Lament

This book blew my mind. I was excited to purchase it, but from the moment I read the first word, I was hooked, addicted, in love. The emotions in this story are so palpable that they feel real, bringing a deeper connection to the story and the characters to my own heart. I love how nothing was held back; not emotionally and not in the description of events taking places for Devin in Iraq. There is so much I could say to add to why I love this book, or why it is now my all-time favorite, but I would be here forever. Buy this book, read the story and you won't regret it. I get that some of the material is touchy, but for myself, I enjoy it because the details could have only been written by a person who has gone through what Devin has. Katie's struggles are no different. They are powerful and deep, but overall become a balm to the soul.
I hope there is more to come from K.L. Grayson and B.T. Urruela, they are a great pair in the writing world.
