A Harvest of Innocence by Dan Stidham and Tom McCarthy offers an informative and deeply personal look at one attorney’s journey—from being assigned the West Memphis Three murder case to ultimately securing his client’s freedom and confronting the aftermath. Because these murders occurred while I was in college, I was familiar with the official narrative at the time. Reading this book was eye-opening, particularly for the behind-the-scenes details that were not widely known then. Overall, it is a heartbreaking and compelling examination of a profound miscarriage of justice.
Mad respect to this judge for not being afraid to call out people within our justice system causing so much injustice
