Totally agree with Lesley. I listened to the audio book and the actor reading it was quite irritating! There was alot of voice characterisation & not much drama. Some characters seemed to be introduced for the sake of it. I didn't finish it, I'm afraid. And I rarely do that. Instead I downloaded the second Richard Osman novel - The Man Who Died Twice. Bliss! Sorry guys!
I found this book and it’s characters difficult to engage with. The story jumped about too much and I found I didn’t know the role of some of the characters. The author did create suspense and intrigue within the story.
