We’re a virtual book club for readers who love getting lost in a good story and talking about it afterward. Whether you enjoy romance, urban fiction, fantasy, thrillers, or discovering something completely outside your usual genre, there’s a place for you here.

Each month, we’ll choose a new book to read together and meet virtually for our monthly book discussion. Throughout the month, there are plenty of ways to stay connected and participate without feeling like book club is another job. 😂

BFTP Membership 💚

Booked For The Plot is a $4.99/month membership community.

Membership dues help support club operations, monthly giveaways, birthday gifts, quarterly bookish surprises, shipping and postage, and other activities and experiences we create for our members.

We want BFTP to remain affordable while also creating a community where members are genuinely interested in participating and connecting with one another.

Membership is limited, and new members are accepted as spots become available.

You do not have to read every book, attend every meeting, or participate in everything we do. Life happens! We simply ask that members remain reasonably active and engaged with the community.

If you’re experiencing a temporary financial hardship that may affect your membership, please reach out privately. We never want someone who genuinely enjoys being part of BFTP to feel uncomfortable asking about their options.

Our Community

Our goal isn’t just to read more books. We want to create a genuine community where readers can connect, discover new authors and genres, share opinions, laugh, debate, and hopefully build some real friendships along the way.

Community Guidelines

📚 Be kind and respectful.

Different books and different opinions are part of what makes book club fun. Respect other members and their perspectives, even when you disagree.

📚 Keep spoilers where they belong.

Use designated discussions when available or clearly mark spoilers so members can enjoy the book at their own pace.

📚 Stay active and engaged.

Participate regularly in some way, whether that’s through chats, polls, check-ins, book discussions, buddy reads, or virtual meetings. You don’t have to do everything, but we do expect members to be part of the community.

📚 Give everyone room to participate.

We want everyone to feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, recommendations, and opinions. Be mindful of different personalities and perspectives within the group.

📚 No pressure to love every book.

We read across different genres, and every selection won’t be for everybody. It’s perfectly okay to skip a book or dislike a pick; just keep the conversation respectful.
