We know running a book club is a lot of work, which is why book club leaders love using Bookclubs to send out meeting invites and track RSVPs. Now, in response to your feedback, we've given club admins even more control by allowing you to adjust members' RSVPs.

If someone reaches out to let you know they can make it after all, or needs to drop out last minute, you can now add or change an RSVP on their behalf and keep your meeting attendance count accurate.

This highly requested feature streamlines the administrative side of managing your book club, giving you one less thing to worry about so you can focus on what matters most — discussing great books with your community.

How It Works

To update a member's RSVP, open up the club's meeting page on the website or on the Bookclubs app.  If using the app, click on "Click to see more detail" for the meeting in question.

Change an existing RSVP

If you are the admin of the club, you'll now see a pencil icon next to each person who has RSVP'd.  Click on the pencil to adjust the member's RSVP.

Add a new RSVP

If you need to add an RSVP for a member who has not yet responded to the meeting invite, click on the button that says "Add RSVP" (on the website this button is to the right of your own RSVP; on the app it's below the list of members who have already RSVP'd).  You'll have the option to select the member in question from a list or to search them by name.

Notification sent to member

An email will be sent to the member whose RSVP you adjusted, notifying them that their RSVP was changed.  They'll continue to have the ability to further adjust their RSVP in the future if needed.
