I loved this book. It was unique with a focus on nature and poetry. The story really captivated me as a reader and I finished it in 2 days.

Where the Crawdads Sing brought me back into the world of reading. It’s highly descriptive, loaded with details of the land on which it takes place and the ecosystems within it. I think of it primarily as a story of a piece of land, and how the land and organisms continue in their cycles regardless of what human behavior takes place there. I enjoyed listening to this one. Good storyline, good plot twist. Was it completely worth the hype? Not necessarily, but I did enjoy it still and the movie was decent too. ☺️
