This book packed a mean punch! & when I say it continually beat the shit out of me , it’s no exaggeration. It was gut wrenching , disturbing, & straight up nasty (and not in the good way). It was parts where I felt like I needed a break due to the graphic descriptions. If you’re a victim of SA, I would tread lightly with this one. TRIGGER WARNING definitely needed. Hands down , one of the best books I’ve read.
I’ve never been a huge thriller fan, but I wanted to give this a try because I’d heard good things. And wow, was it a journey. There were twists at every page and new people and plots at every chapter. I enjoyed the way it kept me on my toes, until literally the very last page.
I was captivated by this book the entire time. I went into it knowing that it was going to be pretty dark, but had no idea to what extent. The imagery was so chilling but the storyline makes you want to keep going. I would definitely say it’s not for the faint of heart. However, if you can handle graphic concepts then you shouldn’t pass this book up.
