I finished Peach Blossom Spring in the early hours of the morning. It's a beautifully written historical fiction. One of the reasons I love historical fiction is that I learn about slices of history that I might otherwise not know of. The mother of the young boy fleeing war is a true heroine. The granddaughter definitely inherits her grandmother's mettle.
